The  West Indian Manatee are well known as the sea cow. They have very  strong fins. They  look so cute for me to say. When I  first saw one it was like a dream I have been saying to my mum ‘’can we go and see them pls’’ I said she would say ‘’ maybe when you get a Job”.  then 10 more years later ‘’Mom I got a job  at the supermarket. Now we can go to west indian’’ I said. My mom said we  sould  get our bags  done. We got it done and we  went and we   and we saw the  West Indian Manatee. It was amazing they lookd like rocks at first but they will come up to you and play with you.

One day I was  on vacation  I went snorkelling  with my friends and we saw the most beautiful thing. It was a green sea turtle. It was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. The  sound was like bubbles popping in a bigger bubble. Well it was like damped salt. When  I got in  it  was so cold I would go back  to the sand but I just did it and it felt nice. When I was doing it I got a little bit of seawater in my mouth. It did not taste good so I had to go and just  swallow it because I did not know what to  make someone sick.

June Writing Sample 2020

One night me and my mum got into a fight so I ran off. My mum tried to follow me but I was too fast for her.I ran for so long I was in the jungle it was cool but not at night. I was scared then I heard something. It was a jaguar but it was like it was tamed. It did not look like it was hagry, it just looked as scared as I was. Then I knew what it was.

It was mum and the police who were looking for me. They put animals in nets and cut down trees where monkey families were. Then the jaguar went down but still on his paws ,I think he was trying to say get on my back and I went on his back. The wind was blowing like wild. It was a lovely night until we ran into someone.

IT WAS MY MOTHER?. Mum what are you doing here?. She said ‘’ I was here looking for you. I said ‘’HOW DESTROYING MOTHER NATURE!’’ You know that you are killing the living things in these places. endangered animals are going to be dead all because of my mother. I could stay here then at home with you. She said sorry but all that matters is that you are safe’’WHAT!’’ I shouted at her all that matters is me NO! The animals do, not me. you let the animals GO NOW!. Ok,ok let the animals out pls ‘’ ok’’ said the police. All the animals are free and I finally thought of a name for the Jaguar lucky because I was lucky he did not eat me and he helped me. Get out and in the van was his mum as well. Lucky’s mum ran up to him and then they ran off.THE END…’’I will be back hehe’’.

Dear Diary, 

What an unforgettable day!  I was busy collecting water from the well, when the sun mysteriously disappeared from the sky.

I looked up and saw smoke in the sky. It was the volcano. I was scared I ran to my home and got my family out but we forgot someone....

MY BABY SISTER!. I went back and she was still sleeping in her bed. I got her and her blanket because we are going to have to be homeless, me and my sister ran. We made it out my mum and dad and sister were there.

We  watched our home burn down. But we got a home apt mit and my mum is working at a school and my dad is doing construction.
