Simple post Jeyda - but one which made me think.... Is it this Ellen Johnson Sirleaf who is a Liberian politician who served as the 24th President of Liberia from 2006 to 2018. Sirleaf was the first elected female head of state in Africa. Ellen Eugenia Johnson was born in Monrovia to a Gola father and Kru-German mother. She was educated at the College of West Africa. She also won the NPP.

Thanks for this post - I really enjoyed reading about Ellen Johnson Sirleaf as I haven’t even heard of her before and knew nothing about her! He was a really unique person to choose for this activity which shows you’ve put a lot of thought and effort into this activity. Why did you choose Ellen Johnson Sirleaf? Where did the inspiration come from?
